Fallout

Life is never easy for the most powerful Exceptional. Ace's unit is still hunting the deranged serial killer, Cult. The psychotic Anti always seems to stay one step ahead of them. As her unit tries to focus on finding their suspect, pressure mounts for them to find Cult and bring her to justice. The old man also warns Ace that a new player has emerged, seeking to "free the trapped gods," by killing Exceptionals. To make matters worse, the HSO unleashes a series of Anti attacks on the city, stretching the EED to its limits. To deal with these new threats, Ace is forced to use more and more of the powers she wants to keep secret. The harder she works, the more paranoid the EED Advisory Council becomes. After the death of Daniel Aarons, many of them feel the Fifth has become too dangerous to leave unsupervised. How will Ace deal with the rising threats without putting her city, and her job in jeopardy?
