Eye Candy

German photographer Hildegard Theodora Monssen (b.1948) creates sensual flower portraits that are both expressive and mysterious. She captures her motifs with natural light in extreme close-ups and reveals the personality of wilting flowers in all their vulnerability. Her images make visible the beauty of transience and temporality.
