The Silk Road

The legendary spy master, Jerome Mountjoy, leader of a small and highly secretive American intelligence agency, is faced with two threats to national security. He must uncover a deep- seated mole on the National Security Council in the White House, and, at the same time, find and destroy an extremely ruthless and violent group of mercenaries that provide intelligence on behalf of Russia to various terrorist organizations throughout the Middle and Near East. The search for the terrorists takes his team of three agents, Parker Leigh, Long Tran, and Casey Decker, through a deadly maze of violence and deception, starting with killings in Washington, D.C. and then to England, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, North Cyprus and finally to a violent ending in the South China Sea.
