A Question of Belief

It’s a day like any other, and you’re queuing at the level-crossing. Or, are you hoping to go on retreat and get away from it all. Maybe you know that kindly old lady with her magnificent black cat. But do you really know what’s going on inside the head of that man who’s just rescued an elderly couple from an ongoing train? What do you make of that sober-looking priest? Are these people – and others you’ll meet – what they seem? Perhaps they are. But, if not, what would you do? The sort of help needed may be well beyond the scope of Google, or even the emergency services. But perhaps I’ve got it all wrong, and you’re one of those rare people who see beyond the everyday. Who is ready to listen and believe. You may even have seen something yourself: the tip of an angel’s wing, or a figure that simply melts away. Or, maybe, just maybe, you’re sitting in front of a blank sheet of paper or an empty screen, and could do with a little supernatural help and inspiration. If so, these stories are for you. After all, in the end, it’s all a Question of Belief.
