The trumpet of doom will blow announcing the end of the world. When the Trumpet Is Blown is about the contemplation of death and the calling for total and utter destruction in the face of despair. It balances nature as an entity both deceptively seductive and honestly destructive. When everything ends, meaning dissolves, hope dies, and everything physical disintegrates leaving in its wake debris and chaos. In the bleak aftermath of loss, a poet desperately sounds the trumpet and calls for the end of it all.
