Coffee shop owner Penny Hudson thought the worse thing in her life was her daughter hitting puberty and becoming impossible. Or she did until the day all of her customers came down sick with rare and unusual diseases. Her business teeters on the edge of failure until developer Seth Rimmon makes her an overly generous offer to become her partner. Except Rimmon isn't human and he doesn't just want Penny's café.
