Saltwater & Lime, birthed from a place of mental anguish after an unrealistic break-up developed through steps of insanity. Jossie Ortiz unquestionably wrote their journey of romantic need and loss, in a poetic format describing moments of pain, self-torment, desire, and euphoria. The need for validation and coming to the awakening that love comes from within. The constant need to change oneself is 'caused by insisting that in order to be loved we need to submit our existence but in that reality, the consumption of the manipulation in obsession was the final outcome of heartache from loving someone who didn't love them in return.
