The Rise and Fall of Monsters

Protected to the West by a massive, deadly swamp, Vathryo North has remained unto itself and its ways for centuries. Their people, even if almost in complete servitude to Ascendants, live a simple life. When Sabbas, a surveyor of the Lady Doron, finds his way into their boundaries, their lives change forever. Three mort youths watch as their lives, once dictated by tradition of division, are forced to confront the collateral damage of decisions made by those who know nothing of them or their lives.
