People Always Leave. They've proved it time and time again for as long as I can remember. You'd figure I'd be used to it, but that feeling, the one of losing someone you love, it can be unbearable. That's why it's easiest to never let people too far in to begin with. It's the cardinal rule that I broke with one look into his deep blue eyes. I let him in. All of him. His touch, his love, his secrets, his lies. I thought it was the fairytale that I never believed in. I thought that we were soulmates.
