From the raging highs of mania to the desperate lows of deep depression, and every single difficult-to-discuss characteristic in between, this illness can be extremely destructive. The imagery of a phoenix is the perfect metaphor for someone touched by these unquenchable flames. This publication is a contribution to the conversation about mental health. It s another story.
