When corrupt officials are above the law, who will oppose them? Uncontrol, Minions of Oligarchy, begins the perilous journey of Leonid Kryukov, a young computer scientist whose quest for love embroils him instead in a war against oligarchs and the gangsters who serve them. From out of his rented basement under a textile factory on the industrial outskirts of Moscow, he is a superhero without a superpower. He makes his own devices for espionage with no help from any government. He's a rebel whose only cause is fighting for the woman he loves. But in a world driven by greed to the brink of disaster, he is dragged ever deeper into battle against an international cabal of oligarchs. To rescue the woman he loves from gangsters serving oligarchs, he fights using only his talent for electronics and his skill at mixed martial arts to save her. Well, he also has help from his friends--all brilliant grad students at Moscow State University.
