George Baselitz

Georg Baselitz is a renowned German Neo-Expressionist artist, still active and influential. He's famous for his upside-down paintings and continues to create provocative, autobiographical works. Georg Baselitz has been exploring, challenging and redefining contemporary art for over six decades, mainly via the medium of paint. A cornerstone of this task has been his complex exchange with historical and contemporary art.
