This book reviews 24 metaphors and visions of significant philosophers throughout History. The word metaphor comes to us from ancient Greek where it meant "transfer". Philosophical metaphors have something in common: they transfer a conceptual word to a word of something that can be seen, an image. But something much more important beats in them: a different and revealing light to understand the world that surrounds us, with its colors and shapes.
