The Hero's Destiny is a collection of short stories and novellas by Chinese-American poet and writer Ning Zhang. Zhang's writings express the confusion and anxiety of modern life, desire to transcend our body and soul, and explore the meanings of human existence through a writing style that possesses a rare classical temperament full of romantic heroism and idealism, magnificent imagination, and poetic language.
