Bob Willoughby

This is the first comprehensive large-format monograph on Bob Willoughby's photographic career in film, television, music, and more. Willoughby's photographs of cinematic and musical stars from the 1950s to the 1970s are significant artistically and historically. As the first special-unit photographer in the film industry hired by the motion picture studios, he captured the stars of the day in rare, candid moments. His black-and-white and color photographs document the Golden Age of Hollywood and include images from beloved classics such as Rebel Without A Cause, Rosemary's Baby, and The Graduate, to name a few. Willoughby documented over 100 films and created memorable photographs of the most revered stars of the day, including Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Jean Seberg, Elizabeth Taylor, Elvis Presley, Natalie Wood, Frank Sinatra, Cary Grant, James Dean, and many more.
