Practical Mandarin Conversation

About the Book Practical Mandarin Conversation is a book that contains only twenty chapters which focuses on the teaching and learning materials of Chinese language and culture. These are the features of this book: (1) each Chinese character is marked with Chinese Pinyin (including four tones) in order to facilitate the readers in reading, a characteristic that other Chinese teaching materials do not have; (2) all contents focus on introducing the Chinese culture, its natural and humanistic landscape; (3) most of the topics are limited to about two pages; (4) each topic is made up mainly of practical and simple sentences; (5) each topic is limited to twenty sentences; and (6) lots of useful Chinese words and expressions are added in each topic. The last topic is more comprehensive and is a brief introduction of Chinese culture; it is especially very helpful for foreign readers to understand briefly the Chinese culture. Therefore, it is a study and teaching material of Chinese language and culture which is suitable for all age groups and levels
