Neuromuscular Disease

Neuromuscular disorders affect peripheral nerves, muscles, neuromuscular junction and anterior horn cells. There have been many recent advances in the diagnosis of such disorders using neurogenetic, neurophysiological techniques and treatment with for example intravenous immunoglobulin. Neuromuscular Disease: Case Studies from Queen Square will address the need for an accessible guide for clinicians using case scenarios from the world renowned MRC Neuromuscular Centre at the National Hospital, Queen Square. The book presents 50 cases, common and rare, genetic and acquired, in a practical, easy-to-read format for residents/registrars in training and consultants.
