Oftentimes, we find that out of the deepest, darkest, most pain-filled times of our lives, a wonderful, awesome, relationship is born with our Creator. In my late forties, after living some 10-12 years with acute alcoholism and the mental illness of Bi-Polar disorder, and the dying and later death of a thirty year marriage, I found that the God of my childhood, or rather the knowledge I had of Him was not enough to sustain me. I knew there just had to be more than the kind of relationship I had with Him. I began to seek with all my heart and being for a deeper communication with Him. I wanted Him to communicate with me. After a couple of years of understanding, even knowing that God did indeed communicate with me by
